A must have if you are going for the color that Duplicolor has created for the Metal Cast line. This coat is the base coat and looks like a silver metallic when applied. It goes on easy and looks nice.
Dupli-Color MC200 Metal Cast Red Anodized Coating - 11oz Enamel
This is the color coat that goes over the base coat. This almost feels like a tinted clear coat. Make sure to apply in even coats to have consistent color across the part, going to light can result in an orange kind of color. I absolutely love the color of this stuff and am blown away by the Dupli-Color product lines.

Some people say that the color of this doesn't reflect the cap so be careful and try it on a test piece before going for a full paint job.

Xtremepower 6" Electric Benchtop Dual Side Buffer / Grinder / Polisher
This tool is most likely the most uncommon tool on this video but a great one to have. In the video you can see how it took the caliper from so much grime and paint to bare metal with minimal effort. Its not super powerful so overpressing your part on the wheel can slow it down but its stong enough to get the job done and for me its comforting knowing that if I get my glove or clothes stuck in it I will only get a few scraches over a serious injury from a overly powerful unit.
WEN 4288T Bench Grinder Stand - 32" Black
Without a garage the bench polisher / grinder has to be portable. I don't want to just have it sitting on the floor moving around when I'm using it so this stand is a must. It keeps the grinder at a comfortable working height and allows more working room with the part. It also has some decent weight to it to give the grinder some stability,
Dewalt 6" Crimped Wide Wire Wheel
The polisher I have only comes with wheels for polishing, so I have a wire wheel which is great for stripping grime, paint, rust and more. This is a affordable option to media blasting. You can also use these types of wheels on an angle grinder.
Scotch Blue Masking Painters Tape - 1.88" x 60 yards
Scotch blue masking tape is pretty much industry standard when it comes to masking or painting. I used 1.88" in the video, but it comes in a variety of sizes. It works well, doesn't tend to allow paint to bleed through or under it and it removes with minimal residue. Just remember the longer the tape is left on the more it is going to stick and leave a residue.
